ISO/IEC 20000-1 is the internationally recognized standard for a service management system (SMS). It helps you to embed a service lifecycle strategy into your organization. ITSM Fundamentals which has a broader focus on the platform and concentrates on understand basic capabilities, the ITSM Implementation course puts those basic capabilities to use. Service management is defined as a set of specialized organizational capabilities for providing value to customers in the form of services. Implementing service management is by itself a strategic decision and one of the objectives of service strategy is to transform service management into an organizational strategic asset.
Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of this course, for each ITSM application, students will be able to: ● Interpret key concepts and requirements of ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018 from an implementation perspective. ● Identify the benefits specific to your organization in relation to implementing an effective SMS ● Understand the internal audit process and prepare for third party certification. ● Conduct a baseline review of an organization’s current position with regard to ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018. ● Implement key requirements of ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018. ● Plan, conduct, report and follow-up internal audits of service management system as per ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018.
